In this partisan election season, it’s easy to forget that a large majority of Americans support action to conserve birds.

A national poll commissioned by Audubon showed that a majority of registered voters supported stronger regulations to protect birds from death traps such as power lines. 62% of respondents support regulations to reduce bird collisions and electrocutions from power lines, while 65% want support regulations that require wind farms to minimize harm to birds.

Conservation isn’t a blue or red issue, it’s a bird issue! You can learn more about the poll at the Audubon Web site.
