Officers and Board – Copy

Anne serves on the Conservation Committee and offers her expertise in all things bird and is an accomplished artist as well. She uses both sides of her brain as a wonderful scientist and an amazing artist.

Sheila has taken on the role of community liaison. She never misses an opportunity to share information about Audubon with the public and is always willing to help. Maybe you have met Sheila at one of the tabling events. If not, be sure to say hello the next time you see her at the Columbus Audubon display.

Allison is our Conservation Chair and has brought great energy and organization to the committee. She has guided the work at Calamus Swamp and the amount of work done there recently has been remarkable. We continue to have both field trips and work trips to Calamus Swamp, so come meet Allison to learn more about the work that the Conservation Committee does.

Elissa is the volunteer coordinator and program chair. She make sure things are ready to go and running smoothly at the monthly meetings. Elissa also coordinates the Beginning Bird Walks at the Audubon Center each Saturday morning.

John is involved in the Glen Echo Bird Club and has been very active with this birding group for a number of years. He is always willing to do anything bird related and brings his birding expertise to the board.

Kandace is the Co-Chair of the Ohio State Ornithology Club and is a new board member. Kandace has been involved in Lights Out Columbus and is leading that chapter at OSU. She also coordinates the bird quiz for the monthly programs.

James works at Mad Scientist Associates as an Environmental Scientist specializing in Ecological Restoration. He the secretary for the Chapter.

Anna is our Field Trip Chair, recruiting volunteer leaders and organizing our many field trips. Anna is an avid birder and works at the Wild Bird Unlimited on Sawmill Rd.
