Green Lawn Owl Prowl
On Saturday, March 26, 2016, Columbus Audubon revived a formerly annual tradition by surveying Green Lawn Cemetery for migrating Saw-whet Owls. A group of 37 people met at 9 a.m. to search the cemetery’s 360 acres, peeking into nearly 2,000 coniferous trees for the tiny owls. Splitting into several groups, the birders scoured the cemetery.Â
