The Deckbirds 2013 Birdathon Report
The Deckbirds have once again pulled off a stunning Birdathon. Not only did we see our traditional “one really good bird,” we actually saw a large good bird. Our find this year was a male Mallard. As many of you know, a Mallard is bigger than a Goldfinch, as well as a Robin. Thus, we have entered into the “Big Bird” category. We don’t know if we can keep finding big birds from our decks, so we may simply have to go back to small ones. We’ll have to wait for next year to see.
