Slate (Run) Colored Juncos team members show their number of species seen: 101The Slate (Run) Colored Juncos passed the century mark this year with a Birdathon day total of 101 species.

Team member Lori Patterson says: We saw a Worm-eating Warbler. They’ve been reported in Slate Run Metro Park before, but I had not seen one at the park. That was a memorable bird of the day for me.

Team member Andrea Krava added: A real highlight was seeing over 100 species in one day at Slate Run! Also, we heard and had great looks at a Black-billed Cuckoo.
