Nest boxes at Hoover Nature Preserve are used by a variety of species.  While Prothonotary Warblers are the target species, Tree Swallows and House Wrens use nest boxes heavily. Chickadees, Nuthatches, Titmice, Bluebirds, and even Flying Squirrels use the boxes as well.

Note that the total number of nest boxes increased from 75 in 202 to 250 by 2008.
