EcoWeekend 2020 Cancelled
At Columbus Audubon, protecting the health and safety of those who attend our events is our highest priority. In light of COVID-19 threat, we have cancelled EcoWeekend 2020.
We are tremendously disappointed to cancel EcoWeekend, and we know that several hundred of you who planned to attend are disappointed as well. But we plan to be back next year with the best EcoWeekend yet! Mark your calendars for the first weekend in May, 2021.
You may wonder why we are cancelling so far in advance of the actual event. The answer is that EcoWeekend requires a tremendous amount of planning and coordination by a large team of volunteers working with Camp Oty’Okwa, suppliers, and presenters. All that preparation makes it impossible for us to wait until shortly before May — we had to make the call now in mid-March. Moreover, many of our attendees need to make their own arrangements for travel, child care, and other items. Putting all that together means that we had to make the call in mid-March to protect the health and safety of all involved.
brings you the best, affordable, fun, family-friendly, educational nature weekend in Central Ohio!
EcoWeekend offers a variety of programs about birds, animals, arts and crafts,
wildflowers, astronomy, nature, and much more. Activities for ages 5 to 105.
