Where: Killdeer Plains Wildlife Area. Meet at the pull off north of 68 south of pond 3 – map
 
Description: We’ll spend the first part of the afternoon looking for waterfowl, raptors, and any other birds that have been seen recently at this expansive grassland, wetland and wooded hotspot! As the sun sets we’ll look for Short-eared Owls that hunt on the grasslands. This trip will be primarily traveling in your own car, with stops in areas where there is parking, or as birds are seen.
