Where: Hoover Dam parking lot off Sunbury Rd (map)

When: January 26, 2025 | 9am – 1pm

Description: Time to shake off those winter blues and beat back cabin fever. We’ll visit some of the Hoover hotspots, depending on where there is open water, looking for over-wintering loons, grebes, goldeneyes, mergansers, and other diving ducks, as well as Eagles, hawks, and the expected masses of gulls. Plus, the dam spillway is often a great spot for dabbling ducks and herons. Then we’ll stop over at nearby Inniswood to search for forest birds and check the feeders.
