The Columbus Dispatch recently honored Clintonville resident Patsy Deerhake as an “Everyday Hero”. We at Columbus Audubon salute Patsy as well — she took the lead on rehabbing the location of the now-demolished Sharon Elementary School. The site now is not only an oasis in a residential area, but also is a refuge for birds. Habitat improvements include a wetland and a Chimney Swift tower.
Check out the story at the USA Today website. Congratulations Patsy, and thank you!
