If you participated in the Great Backyard Bird Count in February — or even if you didn’t — you may be interested in seeing the results.
A few highlights: GBBC estimates that 163,763 bird watchers from more than 130 countries participated! 162,052 bird checklists were submitted, and 5,689 species were reported.
Dark-eyed Juncos were the most frequently recorded species, with Ohio’s state bird, the Northern Cardinal, in second place. You can learn more at the the GBBC Web site.
