Why Modify Your Participant Page?

This is the page that your donors will see if you send them your link. It’s the page where you can convince your donors to support your Birdathon effort – and have some fun.

How to Modify Your Participant Page

  1. Open your web browser and enter the following URL:

    https://columbusaudubon.dojiggy.io/birdathon/firstname-lastname 

    substituting in your own first and last names. If you name is Sue Smith, the result should look like this:
    https://columbusaudubon.dojiggy.io/birdathon/Sue-Smith .

    Hit ENTER.
  2. On the screen that comes up next, click on the circle in the upper right, then select SIGN IN
  3. On the sign in screen, enter your email address
  4. The software will email a verification message to the email address that you entered. Check your inbox and click on the CONFIRM EMAIL AND SIGN IN button.
  5. This will take you back to the Birdathon software sign on screen. Your email address will be filled in already as your sign on name, so just hit ENTER.
  6. Fill in the information to create your account. Be sure to use a secure password – but one that you will remember. Click the CREATE ACCOUNT button.
  7. If you end up on your Participant page, skip to step 9.
  8. You may end up on a page that says “Columbus Audubon – Audubon in Central Ohio” (with a photo of a Song Sparrow). If so, just scroll down to the Birdathon logo (the cartoon bird with binoculars) and click on that.  This will take you to the main Birdathon page. Click the PARTICIPANTS tab (on the gray bar in the middle of the page), scroll through the list of participants to find your entry, and click on your name.
  9. Now you can change:
    • The image (picture at the top of the page) – click the Change button and upload your favorite photo. It’s usually a selfie, but it could be a photo of your pet, your favorite bird, or whatever you like!
    • The title (first line of text, in red) – just click on that line and type a new title
    • The description (the rest of the text on the page) – just click anywhere in the text and start composing. You can use the toolbar at the top of the description to add fancy effects, upload more photos, or whatever you like.

Your changes are saved automatically.

Can I Make More Changes Later?

Sure. Any time you are on a Birdathon page, just navigate to your Participant page, sign on again using the email address and password that you created earlier, and edit as described above.
