Hold onto your binoculars: It looks like this winter will be a big one for Snowy Owls in Ohio.
According to Project SNOWstorm, the data is predicting a big irruption of Snowy Owls across the continental U.S. this year. The prediction certainly seems to be holding up in Ohio. As of late November, we already have multiple reports of Snowy Owls in our northern counties.
