The Grange Insurance Audubon Center has an amazing team of volunteers. Just a few of the many roles our volunteers fill include being the first person our visitors see when they enter the building, attending tabling events to spread the word about who we are and what we do, supporting our education programs and special events by leading small groups or preparing materials and keeping our native plant gardens looking beautiful throughout the year and introduce new visitors to the world of birding through bird hikes. While we are of mindful of showing our appreciation throughout the year, our staff enjoys taking the time to thank them each in a special volunteer recognition event each spring. Recently, we celebrated our volunteers who gave of their time and talents to help move our mission forward in 2017. Over 50 of our active volunteers dedicated almost 4000 hours of their time last calendar year. In addition, we had over 300 hundred special workday volunteers take conservation action through our events – that’s a lot of hands to help get a lot done! Our volunteers are like family and we are so thankful to they are a part of our team.
If you would like to get involved in volunteering at the center, please contact Allison Clark at  614-545-5482 or [email protected] for more information.
Another special thank you to our 2017 volunteers:
