Volunteer Opportunity:

Columbus Audubon is looking for volunteer Beginner Bird Walk leaders to share the love of birding with beginners on walks at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center.  There are monthly or bi-monthly opportunities to either lead or co-lead walks on Saturday mornings at 10am.  Contact Elissa Rand with interest or inquiry.  Happy Birding!

Climate Watch Volunteer appreciation

We called for action and many stepped up to take action – close to 20 people participated in the new citizen science program Climate Watch, monitoring nuthatches and bluebirds to find out how they respond to changes in their habitat due to climate change. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of them.

We’d like to give special thanks to Linda Benner who took on not one area but three and surveyed them with friends. Her enthusiasm and passion is inspiring. Thank you Linda!

We’d love for you to be part of the Climate Watch team! Sign up here (https://columbusaudubon.org/citizen-science/climate-watch/contact-the-climate-watch-team/) or e-mail Angelika ([email protected]).
