We admit it: 2020 has been a discouraging year for most of us humans! There were discouraging parts for birds and bird conservation, too. But amidst the doom and gloom, birds scored some wins. And it’s comforting to reflect on the positives where we can find them!
Despite some attacks on conservation at the federal level, some federal protections were improved. And states across the country took action on conservation and climate change to make our land better for birds — and people, too.
