This summer I attended the American Birding Association’s Camp Colorado. My experience was amazing. I was able to get forty-seven life birds, grow closer with old friends, and make more friendships that will last a lifetime.
Some of my favorite memories from camp include seeing all of the different ecosystems. I personally really loved Alpine day, it was very interesting and it was where we got White-tailed Ptarmigan and Pika to name a couple. Another favorite are the memories I made at dinner and just hanging out with other young birders.
I’m beyond thankful for my experiences. This would not have been possible without scholarships, so I would like to thank Columbus Audubon for awarding me with The John Wilson Memorial education fund.
