Description: We’re coming up on the peak of fall sparrow migration, and you’re invited to look for them in a beautiful stretch of habitat that’s not normally open to the public! Potential birds include Lincoln’s Sparrow, Swamp Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow, Savannah Sparrow, Palm Warbler, Bobolink, and if we’re lucky, Nelson’s Sparrow.
Note that are no facilities in this part of the park and we’ll be off-trail in tall grass for much of the morning. Let me know by email ([email protected]) if you plan to attend.
Space is limited! Contact James Muller at [email protected] to register.
