Monthly Program 2025 – 2026

Join us for our 2025 – 2026 in-person Monthly Program series in partnership with and located at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center on Tuesday March 24, 2026. The Columbus Audubon March Monthly Program is going to be our biggest event of the season! This program is our Women in Science event. We will start the event earlier than usual, opening the doors at 4:00pm for a special Vendor Market featuring local artists, writers, and entrepreneurs who will be showcasing work related to science, nature, and femininity. This will be followed by multiple speakers. Guest speaker Shana Byrd, Ohio Lead of Conservation at The Nature Conservancy, will share glimpses into the lives of several women who have helped to contribute to empowering the next generation of conservation scientists. Arrive at 6:30pm to participate in the bird quiz, draw a door prize ticket, and enjoy refreshments. We will begin the Monthly Program at 7:00 pm with a Conservation Spotlight by Kelly Williams about the consequences of overwinter habitat use by dark-eyed juncos in rural and urban/suburban landscapes. The Featured Presentation will begin immediately following the Conservation Spotlight. Winners for the door prize and bird quiz will be announced after the presentations.
