Birdathon 2017 Report: Calamus Swampers

King Rail - Photo Susan Young

The Calamus Swampers Birdathon Team was represented this year by Blaine & Ann Keckley, Lori Patterson, and Linda Benner. Special props for Ann, who provided a wonderful surprise brunch out of the rain!

We did our Birdathon from 6:00 am – 2:00 pm. The temperature was lovely, in the 70’s, but we started with a light sprinkle that developed into a moderate rain lasting until 11:00. After that, skies were overcast.
