2016 Fall Chimney Swift Counts
On August 8, 2016, I set out to start my fourteenth annual fall Chimney Swift count as swifts select local chimneys for nightly roosting as they work their way to their winter homes in Columbia, Ecuador, Peru, and the northwest corner of Brazil.
